Core Dancer
Tracy has been dancing since the age of 6 and appeared in her
first role as an orphan from the musical "Oliver". She continued
to dance all through her school years and graduated from Northern
Illinois University with a B.A. in Dance Performance in Theatre.
Tracy was awarded the Talented Student Scholarship for all years
attending NIU. Since then she has performed with numerous dance
companies, and in several musicals including
A Chorus Line,
Hair and
The Pulse of the City. For 10 years she
was the Artistic Director of the Dance Theatre of Elgin, and has
taught dance classes and workshops throughout Chicago and neighboring
states. Tracy has been choreographing since her teen years and has won
the praise of both critics (Chicago Tribune, Chicago Reader, Gary
Indiana Northwest Phoenix) and audiences alike. Most recently
Tracy was presented with the 2006 Audience Choice Award for her
choreography in Chicago Dance Festival. Tracy joined AMEBA in
2006 and couldn't be happier continuing. When not dancing, Tracy
devotes the rest of her time to the practice and teaching of
yoga and to loving her husband and kitty cats.
