Core Dancer
Danielle is a recent graduate of the University of Illinois in
Champaign-Urbana with a degree in Philosophy and a concentration
in Dance. She also attended the University of Tampa for two years
where she was given the amazing opportunity to choreograph and perform
multiple times each semester for the exciting Dance Happenings, and
Faculty concerts. She also volunteered at the Phillip Art School in
Tampa, choreographed and performed for an event hosted by the President
of the University and earned two prestigious awards: Dancer on the move
(2004), and the Leadership award for dance (2005). Transferring to
the University of Illinois strengthened her training and encouraged
her to use dance to share a message about the tragedy occurring in
Darfur. In 2006, she founded an on campus dance company called
"DARforPEACE", which raised money that was donated to Genocide
Intervention Network. In the summer of 2005 she also attended
Parson's summer intensive, where she worked with David Parsons
and company members. Prior to college, her eclectic training
included Salt Creek Ballet, Lou Conte Studio, Joel Hall, and
Dance 4 All. Her training includes Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Tap,
Hip Hop, and Musical Theatre. She looks forward to beginning her
career as a performer!
